Early Childhood Music Groups
* Registration is required to attend. Please reach out if you have additional questions.
What early childhood music curriculum do you use?
All early childhood groups at Covered Bridge Music Therapy follow the Sprouting Melodies’ award winning music program. Sprouting Melodies is not about a curriculum but about your child’s development. Each class is tailored to the needs of your child within the group.
Sprouting Melodies’ early childhood music program is designed by music therapists and train music therapists to be providers. Music therapists are trained to observe and pivot as needed to help your child feel successful in class.
Snuggle Bugs
0-9 months old
Infant music therapy groups offer a nurturing and engaging environment for both infants and their caregivers to explore the world of music together. These groups are designed to promote early communication, emotional bonding, and overall developmental growth.
Through lullabies and playful interactions, infants are exposed to a variety of sounds and melodies that stimulate their senses and support their sensory-motor development. Moreover, the music therapy sessions provide an opportunity for parents to connect with other caregivers, fostering a sense of community and shared experiences.
Caregivers have the opportunity to register for 4 week, 6 week, or 8 week increments. If you sign up for the Tuesday package and are sick one week, you would have the opportunity to join our Thursday group.
tiny Tune Explorers
6 mo-18 month olds
Tiny Tune Explorers is specifically designed for littles aged 6 to 18 months. Groups create a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages the little ones to explore the world of music. Through gentle sounds and rhythmic activities, we aim to foster their cognitive, physical, and emotional development. Whether it's bouncing along to a catchy melody or playing with colorful instruments, our music therapy groups provide a safe space for babies to socialize, bond with their caregivers, and enhance their motor skills. With a focus on early communication and sensory awareness, our sessions create an optimal foundation for your little one's future growth and musical experiences.
Caregivers have the opportunity to register for 4 week, 6 week, or 8 week increments. If you sign up for the Tuesday package and are sick one week, you would have the opportunity to join our Thursday group.
